5 Ways to Green Your Building and Get Money to Do It

Many of our commercial clients have deployed energy projects in the last year that are now meeting or exceeding savings and incentives projections.  Read on as DNAInfo New York describes how some of our clients have transferred important best energy practices from the workplace, into homes and condos.

Some examples mentioned:

A co-op in Manhattan received $197,000 in incentives from NYSERDA on a $788,000 energy efficiency project.  The upgrades are reportedly saving the co-op $140,000 a year.

The YMCA on Staten Island got $52,000 in incentives from Con Edison on a $92,000 LED retrofit that has seen the Y’s lighting bill drop from $27,000 to $10,000 a year.
