Great Forest Launches Free Benchmarking Helpline Ahead of New NYC Law

Are you ready to be in compliance?

Great Forest is launching a free email Benchmarking Helpline to answer questions about NYC’s landmark Local Law 84, which goes into effect on May 1.  Large buildings are required to report their energy use data by that date. Over 14,000 buildings in NYC are affected. Helpline visitors can also learn more about the law and get additional resources such as a checklist and forms.

“This data will be made public, so it’s important to get it right the first time around,” says Sheila Sweeney, Great Forest’s director of energy services.  “With every new law there are always questions and concerns. Since we are already working with Great Forest clients on benchmarking, we are in a good position to help others get on track.”

Email your questions to:

Great Forest sustainability experts will reply within 48 hours.  The Helpline will be available until May 1.  Please, only questions regarding commercial and mixed-use properties only.
