Brokerage/consulting firm specializing in all aspects of sustainable waste management, including recycling, organics, waste audits, and zero waste has an immediate opening for a full-time National Sales Manager. Primary duties will involve managing sales efforts regarding brokerage services, waste audits and recycling performance services for Fortune 500 clients, REIT’s, and other nationwide and global organizations. Below is a general description of expectations for this role:
General Duties and Expectations
Prior experience with and knowledge of the waste industry is preferred. Qualified applicants should indicate any relevant sustainability experience or certifications in their cover letter. Must be self-reliant and self-motivated, very organized and detail-oriented. Must have excellent public speaking skills, a prior track record of success, excellent communication skills, write clearly and concisely, and have good computer skills. Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task are imperative. Minimum five years experience.
This position reports directly to the CEO, and coordinates closely with the management team. We’re looking for the right person that can work with a small team of dedicated people with a passion for sustainability. This position is based in New York City.
